About MoALSO
The Missouri Association of Levy Boards & Senior Organizations (MoALSO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the health, nutrition, and quality of life for persons 60 and older by promoting the passage and application of county senior levy funds (67.990 RSMo).
Association Responsibilities
Assist and support members through networking, education, and advocacy
Provide opportunities for levy board members to share information and discuss concerns in their counties
Promote the levy fund and encourage and assist new counties with levy passage
Provide access to data-based statistics and best practices to support advocacy efforts and senior services
Provide a platform for members’ participation in the democratic process to impact state legislation/ regulation/policy
Support existing counties with information for levy fund administration
Work strategically with the Missouri Association of Area Agencies on Aging (ma4) and Silver-Haired Legislature
